The club are delighted to welcome Performance Physio & Rehab as our club physiotherapy provider.
You will notice a new face in the gym on a Tuesday night as Aidan from Performance will be on hand to help diagnose any aches or pains our players may have!
Based in Mooloolaba, Performance will be on hand every Tuesday night to help diagnose and refer all junior and senior players. Alongside this Performance also offer a fantastic reduced fee of $75 for all physiotherapy and massage visits.
We caught up with practice owner Kat Egan to find out why they’ve decided to partner with the Fire.
“Fire and Performance Physio have common ground – we both value the development of athletes as good players and good people” Kat explained.
“We see striving for high performance as an admirable characteristic and want things done right and done well” she added.
Club Technical Director Melvyn Wilkes also spoke about his excitement moving forward, “I’m delighted to be welcoming Kat and her fantastic team to the Fire” he said.
“We’ve been on the lookout for a new Physio provider and we feel Performance fit perfectly into our ethos going forward.”
