A warm welcome to all supporters, players, parents and visitors from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

The Under 18 and Under 20 Boys start off the day followed by the Senior Men and Women.

As we move into Round 7 for the Senior Men, we see the return and debut of some fresh faces with the likes of Terone Wattegedara, Credo Mabiba, George Brown and Danyon Bell.

The Women return to the Sunshine Coast Stadium today after their game was postponed last week. Tom White has put together a great team with a lot of younger girls getting some valuable experience.

It’s promising to be a great day of football.

Warm regards,

-Noel Woodall

From the Technical Director

Welcome to our visitors from Brisbane Roar and Gold Coast City.

As we continue to work on the development process of bringing our younger players through, the Senior Men have found it difficult in some recent games. This will still not deter our process or forward planning.

We fully support all players and Senior staff in this process, and we are confident that the process will be fruitful further down the track.

In addition to the above, we went through the same process of restructure and remodelling of our Junior boys and girls NPL program, and we are now seeing the outcomes of that transition, the U12 boys, U13 boys & U14 boys all picking up good victories against Brisbane City last weekend, and our U13 & U15 girls sitting 1st & 2nd respectively in their current ladders.

To date we have had 27 players selected for High Performance, State Trials, National Trials and A-League contract, not a bad return this early into our current season.

Our Senior Women entertain Gold Coast City today, the women also following suit with the men and bringing through the younger home grown players.

Our April Holiday Camp commences on Monday 10th April, and please register now to book your child’s place.

I would also like to say a huge thank-you to our club sponsors, it’s great to have them on board.

Enjoy the games.

From the Head Coach

[quote align=”center” color=”#hex”]

It’s been a tough couple of weeks in regards to results but the players are still working as hard ever in training to improve. We have played two very good sides in Olympic and Strikers and they have shown us where we need to get to be a top 4 NPL side. The players in both games have given all they can and in training are pushing themselves to be better and while the results have not reflected that, the team has been performing better than it did in the first two matches when we managed our two draws.

This weekend we face the Brisbane Roar followed by a trip to the Western Pride. We understand the importance of the next couple of weeks and I hope to have a full squad of players to choose from. Zac Munster, Kurtis Modlin and Terone Wattegedara will be back in training after injury and suspension fighting for a spot in the starting 11 for the weekend.

The players and I appreciate the support you give us on game day and we will be giving our all on Sunday to repay that support.
