Due to the success of its inaugural goalkeeping program, Sunshine Coast FC Fire’s expanded Community Goalkeeping Academy program kicks off from 29 October to 10 December 2015.
Training sessions will be conducted by Sunshine Coast FC’s Elite Academy Director and Goalkeeping Coach Ashley Kingdon. Ashley has held positions as a goalkeeping coach in the United Kingdom from grass roots all the way up to professional level, most recently as:
- Head of Goalkeeping for Birmingham City FC Girls Centre of Excellence; and
- Academy Goalkeeping Coach for West Bromwich Albion FC.
Sunshine Coast FC Fire is looking to provide Sunshine Coast goalkeepers with the opportunity to receive first class, specialised coaching which can help develop their skills and make a positive impact on their current team.

Times & Age Groups:
Foundation Phase (Under 7 – Under 11): 4.00pm – 5.00pm
Youth Phase (Under 12 – Under 14): 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Professional Phase (Under 15 – Under 18): 5.00pm – 6.00pm
Skill Level: All skill levels
