Sunshine Coast coach Kevin A’herne-Evans has urged the club’s fan base not to get carried away by a season-opening rout of Central Queensland in Rockhampton on Saturday night.

The relatively new-look Fire was simply ruthless in a 7-0 thrashing that suggested last year’s Queensland Premier League champion will also be a major threat in the inaugural National Premier League.
