Fire midfielder and PNG National player David Muta has been selected to play in the Oceania World Cup Qualifier matches to be played in the Solomons over the next 10 days. David who has settled in well on the Sunshine Coast is likely to be again appointed National Captain for the series. This is the forth year that David has played for the National side and in that time he has matured into natural leader of a very talented group of footballers. David tells us that all of the boys in the National team are big fans of the Fire and are looking forward to coming to the Coast soon for some Football R and R. Former Fire striker Kema Jack has also made the side. New Fire recruit Koriak Upagia has also been selected in the side. The Fire wishes the boys the very best for the series.
