From the Technical Director
Welcome to our visitors from SWQ Thunder, as we enter the final stages of the current season, we have been working behind the scenes to start our retained list for the 2019 campaign, whilst also putting measures in for our long term future.
Richard Hudson has now taken charge of the U18’s squad for the remainder of the season, as he looks to shape the Senior Squads in preparation for the commencement of pre-season in the third week of October; this also encompasses a portion of the current U16’s squad. A new coach is due to arrive on the Coast in the last week of September to work under Richard with the U18’s.
As previously communicated, we are also pressing forwards with our state of the art facility development project, this will be a great acquisition for our club, and will provide us with a foundation and home.
We are hoping to communicate some overdue developments shortly.
We are already into the trial phase, and any parent / guardian who wishes to have their child viewed and be considered for trial, please email admin@sunshinecoastfc.com.au
Thank you for your support,

This weekend we host SWQ Thunder to the Sunshine Coast for our penultimate home fixture of the season, and wish their management, players and supporters all the best for the game.
In the reverse fixture it was a tight affair finishing in a 0-0 draw, since that game in April, SWQ Thunder have climbed the NPL ladder and we have continued our roller coaster season.
If we were judging our season on results alone than it would be fair to say it’s been a very poor one, but there have been plenty of positives, the drive and commitment from players has led to the stability needed for next season’s campaign.
