UQFC have stormed to an 8-0 win against Sunshine Coast Fire at Lions Stadium on Sunday night, highlighted by a hat-trick to captain Danielle Harbot.
Bouncing back from their disappointing loss to the Gap last weekend, UQFC worked their way into the game and the chances soon came, with Mariel Hecher netting the game’s first goal.
From there, UQFC continually threatened off the back of brilliant team play, with the Fire’s defence unable to repel the attacking raids.
UQFC travel away to South West Queensland Thunder next weekend, while the Fire look to regroup and make a statement against the Gap.
