The club are delighted to announce that Manchester City Coach, Tom Bateman will be joining the Fire as Under 18 and Under 9’s SAP Coach.
The B Licence & Youth Module 3 holder has held academy roles with Bury FC & Tranmere Rovers along with his full time role with Manchester City In The Community the last three years.
Along with his coaching experience, Tom is also an accomplished Futsal player having featured for the England U19’s side and also holds his Futsal B Licence.
Fire Technical Director Melvyn Wilkes added “Tom will be an asset to our already strong coaching set-up in 2020, we have been working extremely hard to up skill and add experience and quality to our coaching provision, which continues to make Sunshine Coast FC the leader in Youth Development on the Sunshine Coast.”
Tom will be flying to the Coast mid November and we look forward to welcoming him to the Fire.
