SUNSHINE Coast coach Kevin A’Herne-Evans lauded his team’s tenacity after a tense 2-1 triumph over Northern Fury at Bokarina yesterday.
While the Fire again failed to capitalise on a swag of scoring chances, the side still did enough to show it has developed a killer instinct.
“I’m delighted,” A’Herne Evans said after Nicholas Bechar’s crucial 80th minute goal provided the Fire with its second win in five days.
