THE Sunshine Coast has confirmed it will be a threat in the inaugural National Premier League last night, when it held competition heavyweight Redlands to a thrilling 3-3 draw at Cleveland.
But the Fire was still left feeling somewhat dejected after letting slip a two-goal lead in the round-eight encounter.
In a highly anticipated clash between the 2012 Brisbane Premier League champion (Redlands) and the 2012 Queensland State League champion (Sunshine Coast), the Fire dominated the first half and at one stage led 3-1 midway through the second stanza before being reeled back in.
