Over two extraordinary nights, Fire sponsors Aussie World will be hosting one of the Sunshine Coast’s biggest ever Halloween events on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November. This special after-dark event will showcase a huge range of entertainers, music, dance performers, street theatre and activities like the Enchanted Forest Maze, Pirates Cove, the Scarecrow’s Cornfields, Graveyards, Monster House, Scary Castle, a Spooky Cottage and for the more courageous (suggested 16+ age group), the Maze of Evil.
Every munchkin (child under 12) who enters the Halloween FestEvil will receive a free Pumpkin Trick or Treat bucket on arrival. The buckets can be filled as they journey around the park visiting the six purpose-built trick or treat huts and meeting ghoulish characters. Over $4000 of prizes will be up for grabs in a range of competitions run over both nights. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed, so all guests are encouraged to get into the spirit and come along in costume. Aussie World’s retail store has already undergone a makeover and is fully stocked with costumes, makeup and accessories to make the most of the event. Aussie World Cafe will be open as well as The Shed, where you can enjoy delectable treats like Cremated Worms, Witch Fingers, Rotting Dogs, Sea Monsters or Kids Toes topped with sludge for a memorable dinner.
With the popularity of Halloween skyrocketing in recent years, Aussie World has created this marquee event to encourage kids away from the streets of the Sunshine Coast at night to enjoy a more fun and safer family environment. This event combines all the traditional fun of Halloween PLUS our huge range of rides and attractions being open after dark!
