SUNSHINE Coast Fire player Sam Knight declared Moreton Bay had done their homework on his side following their 2-0 away loss.
Knight said it was obvious the Jets were well schooled in counter-acting the Fire’s well-structured plays as they continuously shut down their attack.
“You could tell they were aware of the way we played and they were pressing us high and wouldn’t let us play our normal game,” he said.
“They did a great job of stopping our momentum and really shut us down on a lot of occasions.”
