The club are delighted to announce that Kirito and Hiroto Higuchi have re-signed for the 2020 season.
Kiri played 14 games, scoring once for our senior men while also featuring 8 times on the scoresheet for our under 20’s. Twin brother Hiro played most of his football in the under 20’s, making his senior debut in our last game of the season against Lions Football Club.
Hiro can play as an attacking full back or at centre midfield while his twin brother can play on either wing. Both players joined us from Cairns based side Southside Comets prior to the start of last season.
Head Coach Gareth Thomson said “I’m proud to have the boys back for next season. Kiri & Hiro are both extremely passionate and committed to their football and with a year of NPL experience under their belt they are going to be a massive part of the squad this year.”
Gareth added “The team we are building is shaping up very well, it will be a great mixture of exciting youth prospects and more senior players to tie it all together.”
