Our last couple of matches have not gone to plan in regards to the results and all the hard work that the players have been putting in over the last few weeks is going unrewarded. Despite the lack of results the players deserve a lot of credit for continually pushing themselves to be better and for the side to become more competitive. The team is playing much better football but just not getting the rewards in terms of results.
Our last match against Townsville was very competitive and we were in the match right up until a sending off just before half time. Townsville played well in the second half and made the most of the extra man to run out winners but on Sunday we expect to be battling for the three points and can come away from the game with something to show for it. As always I thank you for making the effort to come and watch us.
