I hope everyone one had a great Easter and enjoyed the long weekend. Today we welcome Moreton Bay United to the Western Fields for today’s match.
Against the Roar we played well and were in the game right to the end when pushing for an equaliser we caught short at the back. Last week against the Pride we were once again competitive for long periods but were caught out for short periods which cost us. Zac Munster made his return from injury and responded well with two well taken goals.
We have starting scoring goals but need now to work hard at the other end as a team to keep the opposition out. Despite the lack of results the players are still training really hard and improving each session we have. The attitude in training has been really good as the players push themselves and each other to be better.
The players and I look forward to seeing you Sunday and appreciate the fact that you take the time out of your weekend to come and support us,
Thank you,
-Roger Hardwicke

This weekend we welcome Peninsula Power to the Coast. From what we have seen and know this will probably be our toughest game yet and with our results recently we will be trying to keep them out for as long as possible.
This is a game where we will need to try and frustrate our opposition but they have been playing some good football and have had some impressive results.
We welcome back some players from sickness and injuries this week so hopefully our squad will keep getting better. Last week our second half display was fantastic so hopefully we can keep building on that.
