NPL Round 14 Match Guide

NPL Round 14 Match Guide

From the Technical Director

Welcome

Hello and welcome to our visitors from North Queensland United FC and Gold Coast United FC as we look forward to a good day of football from all teams at Kawana Sports Precinct.

It has been a very busy and productive week both on and off the field, as the returning Richard Hudson and his Senior staff prepare their troops for a tough encounter V North Queensland United Seniors, whilst all junior staff prepare for their counterparts from Gold Coast United FC’s junior section.

Our July Holiday Camp dates have been released as 9th July – 12th July inclusive.

We have started our preparations for 2019 and beyond as we look to press forward and move the club on.

We have exciting projects involving some major global football clubs and institutions which we are hopeful to release to the public in the not so distant future, this will see some of Europe’s football powerhouses involved with Sunshine Coast FC.

A warm welcome to all of our 2018 club and player sponsors, and please be sure to visit the SCFC Business Directory.

I look forward to seeing you all.

Best wishes,

– Melvyn Wilkes

Senior Men

This weekend we welcome NQ United FC to the Sunshine Coast and wish them all the best for their game. This is the start of the second stage of the NPL Fixtures and the new look of the Fire side has now been together for four weeks and is developing nicely.

Having already progressed to the next round of the FFA Cup against Gold Coast Knights in early June our attentions are now firmly fixed on picking up points in the NPL.

The team game performances are getting better every week but like any other team that is on the bottom of the league the little things seem to go against us. However we make no excuses as we move forward.

The team is very young and enthusiastic and keen to improve and work hard for each other. I am confident that with more time the group will develop into a very strong team and do the Fire proud.
