NPL Round 16 Match Guide

NPL Round 16 Match Guide

From the Technical Director

Welcome to our NPL counterparts from Mackay-Whitsundays.

Another weekend off from competitive Junior fixtures again, has enabled myself and the staff to deliver some extensive work with all age groups.

We are currently now six weeks in preparing our new U13s 2019 squad, which is taking shape nicely.

We’ve received some positive news that we will be re-engaging our SAP program, I will be personally overseeing and heading this program, with more news to follow in due course.

I’d also like to congratulate Rex Pollock from the Under 20s on being selected for the Queensland School Boys squad.

I’d like to take this opportunity again to thank our current sponsors and partners, as I look to continue to move our club forwards, your support as a sponsor / partner is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to many more years working together.

Finally, please do not forget to register your child’s interest in our up and coming July School Holiday Program, this will be part of the start point for our SAP program and T3 development academy.

Enjoy the football

– Melvyn Wilkes

Senior Men

This weekend we welcome Magpies Crusaders to the Sunshine Coast. Who like ourselves are struggling at the wrong end of the table.

We wish them all the best in Saturday’s game.

Over the last few weeks we have had a lot of encouraging performances without getting three points for our good work.

Last weekend’s home game against Cairns was probably our best 90 min we have played so far however at the end of the day we had no points to show for it. Let’s hope the football gods are smiling on us at the end of the game.

I look forward to seeing everybody at the game.
