NPL Round 15 Match Guide

NPL Round 15 Match Guide

From the Technical Director

Welcome to our visitors from Cairns FC.

With a break in the junior fixture calendar, it provides us a chance to do some structured work in a training game capacity for each junior age group.

After a couple of busy weeks, we have some exciting announcements on the horizon in terms of Senior player signings, I will leave Richard to communicate this is due course.

We have been fortunate again to secure Peregian Beach College for our July NPL Residential program, with teams get to spend 2 nights / 3 days together. This is a useful exercise to continue to instil our club syllabus, and drive club culture. This allows me to do approximately 5 weeks’ worth of advanced structured work with each age group, whilst also working on coach development.

Our partners Peregian Beach College have an open day for prospective new pupils on 15 June 2018, 41 Old Emu Mountain Road, Off Murdering Creek Road, 10:00am – 3:00pm, please visit www.pbc.qld.edu.au or call 5448 1722 or visit Peregian Beach College on Facebook.

We are also running our July School Holiday Camp from Monday 9th July – Thursday 12th July, with some fantastic prizes to be won including a $50 Rebel Sports Voucher, Free September School Holiday Camp place worth $120, and signed “Fire” shirt.

We look forward to a good afternoon of football.

Best wishes,

– Melvyn Wilkes

Senior Men

This weekend we welcome Cairns FC for the weekend fixture and wish them all the best.

With last week’s disappointing performance behind us training has been very good.

We are nursing a few injuries in the squad after last week’s very physical game however everybody should be 100% when come game time.

I would like to thank everybody for their enthusiasm and support since I have come back on board.

Behind the scenes we have lots of momentum and we are moving forward with all the hard work that is being undertaken.

– Richard Hudson
