PS4 NPL QLD Round 5 – Heath Bags Four As Olympic Stay Perfect

Brisbane Olympic scored five first-half goals on the way to a stunning 8-2 victory over Sunshine Coast FC at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Matthew Heath needed just over half an hour to notch a hat-trick, swelling his season tally to an incredible 10 goals from four games.

Heath later added a fourth and received plenty of scoring help from his teammates as Olympic maintained their perfect start and returned to top spot.

Fire’s Jez Lofthouse did score his first goals of the season, but his efforts never looked like being anything more than consolation prizes. The result leaves Fire winless and with a league-worst goal difference of -18.

Fire visit Perry Park to take on Brisbane Strikers next Saturday, while Olympic make the trek north to face FNQ Heat.
