Sunshine Coast FC ‘FIRE’ is delighted to announce a partnership with global player recruitment organisation ‘Soccer Smart’, the partnership is part of SCFC’s global network.
The Fire will be sending one of our brightest U16’s to Senior players on an all expenses paid trip upon conclusion of the 2019 NPL season, to spend 1 Month residing, training and playing for Alicante City FC in Spain.
When in Spain our player will live and breathe football in a full time training environment and receive the opportunity to showcase themselves in the Spanish leagues.
The cost of the whole month will be covered by SCFC & Soccer Smart, (Flights & Accommodation) and is the start point to send our best talent across to Europe on an annual basis.
Speaking on the new partnership Melvyn said “I have known Elliot for over 3 years, having taken players from Soccer Smart in the past, and now it’s time we start to send players the opposite way to open doors into the European leagues. This is the start of the programmes we will be rolling out as previously indicated in the media at the start of 2018.”
