Sunshine Coast FC announce Munster as first signing for 2017

Sunshine Coast FC has signed attacker Zac Munster for the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland 2017 season.

Munster, 24, made the move from PlayStation® 4 NPL Capital Football club Belconnen United FC in the search for a lifestyle change and tough competition.

“NPL Queensland is definitely bigger than Canberra because there is such a high concentration of amazing players,” he said.

“I’ve been watching on Facebook and it looks a lot more physical than Canberra. Here you have to get into the physical stuff and there is a lot of counter play whereas Canberra has a lot of build-up.”

Munster looks to bring his unique style of football to the Sunshine Coast and has his eye on a 20 goal season.

“As a striker, I can play the ball for a while and I want to bring a different dynamic style of play that will put some pressure on defenders. I’m pretty quick for someone who is taller and I’m able to find the goals when I want so that’s what I plan to do,” Munster said.

“I like the lifestyle on the Sunshine Coast with the beach and closeness of everything, but the climate is probably the biggest thing that I’ll have to adjust to.”
