Sunshine Coast FC is happy to announce Barlow Shelley Consulting Engineers as the latest long-term junior team partner, sponsoring the Sunshine Coast FC Under 13 Girls for the 2017 and 2018 PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland seasons.
Barlow Shelley Director Tony Shelley said it was an easy decision to support the club.
“The Directors have always had kids involved in local sports clubs and we have always helped out with sponsorship where possible,” he said.
“With my daughter playing for Fire, it was logical that we support the club that supports our local kids.”
Shelley also acknowledges the shared philosophy that Barlow Shelley shares with Sunshine Coast FC.
“The main goals and values of the football club and our company are surprisingly similar; fully professional, pursuing excellence, and ethical participation,” Shelley said.
Barlow Shelley Consulting Engineers have been in the development industry for over 25 years, they offer clients experienced advice based on a long history of designing and building projects on the Sunshine Coast.
Shelley is always looking to expand the business and is looking ahead to 2017 and beyond.
“For 2017, we have some major new clients and projects that require all our focus to bring them through the approval phase and also construction ready for opening in late 2017,” he said.
“We’re also starting to adopt better computer systems and write our own custom software to streamline the business as engineering has traditionally been an old fashioned business that tends to not quite keep up to the cutting edge of technology.”
