The Fire’s First Team Coach Kevin A’herne Evans and Captain Greig Henslee will be lining up alongside celebrities, A-league and NRL stars, councillors and local identities this Sunday as part of the United for Daniel charity soccer day.
A-League star Mitch Cooper from the Newcastle Jets will be amongst the star studded cast on the day showing support for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Surf stars Ali Day and Amy Nurthen swap sand for the football pitch to tough it out, as well as John Holliday from the 80’s band ‘The Escape Club’. Division 3 Councillor Peter Cox and former State of Origin players Chris Flannery and Adam Mogg will be on field on the day to show their support.
We urge all our Fire supporters to come down to Stockland Stadium for a fun-filled day in support of a great cause.
Gates open at 10:00am and Greig and Kevin will play in the All-Stars game kicking off at 2:00pm.
