Sunshine Coast FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Ali Demircan as the men’s Head Coach ahead of the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland 2018 season.
Highly experienced in National Premier Leagues football, Demircan served as Head Coach for Moreton Bay United’s Youth and Men’s teams, and Junior Academy for three years before moving on to spend two years with Brisbane Olympic FC, coaching their Senior Men.
Speaking on his appointment, Demircan said, “I’m very happy to be joining Sunshine Coast FC for the 2018 season. I’m ready to help build this team to reach its full potential.”
“My first goal is to assess where the team is and how players like Tesoro, Smith, Borras and Koshimizu play off each other and build the team around them.”
“Before the season starts I plan to have an established group of strong players that trust each other and can work as a unit rather than individuals,” he said.
Currently holding an AFC-FFA ‘B Class’ Licence, Demircan will have completed his AFC-FFA ‘A Class’ Licence by the commencement of pre-season training.
In addition to his extensive coaching background, Demircan has a slew of academic sporting qualifications including a Graduate Certificate in Sport Coaching, Graduate Diploma of Sport and most recently a Master of Sports Coaching from Griffith University.
