Detailed Description:
Sunshine Coast FC was established in 2007 to participate in the Queensland State League with teams in both the Senior and U19 competitions. The club has also actively developed links with the A-league and international clubs to provide further career opportunities for its players and staff. Clinics and academies for children aged 3 to 16 years focusing on the development of technical and tactical skills have also been conducted together with international tours.
The introduction of the National Premier League (NPL) in 2013 has provided the opportunity for the development of several key areas within the club including responsibility for the instruction of coaches within the local community clubs as well as the club’s own coaches.
The Club has already developed a group of outstanding qualified coaches. These coaches are involved in the delivery of the Clubs NPL academy and community programs.
This role has a focus on building the skills and capacity of our coaches together with ensuring coaching plans, systems and support structures are in place to deliver quality performances. The role will suit candidates able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the requirements of high performance coaches and best practice in high performance coaching.
