Sunshine Coast FC Fire is pleased to launch our 2015 Elite Academy Program.  This year, the program will offer a pathway from the Under 6 age-group all the way through to playing in the senior NPL football and beyond.

Focusing on the skill acquisition phase, the Elite Academy has been modelled on the FFA National Curriculum. It provides the opportunity for elite players to develop their skills in an intensive training environment.

The Elite Academy is open to players aged Under 6 (ie – turning 6 this year) to Under 11.

The Elite Academy trains twice each week on Monday from 4-5pm at Kawana Sports Precinct Field 5 and Friday afternoons from 4-5pm at Western Field 1. Coaches Dario Farruggia and Kyle Townsend work with our Elite Academy players. Kyle is assistant coach for the Fire Under 13 Boys NPL and holds a current C Youth Licence and is working towards his B Licence. Dario is assistant coach for the Fire Under 16 Boys and holds a Skills Training Certificate and a Senior Coaching Certificate.
