The Fire are delighted to announce that Trent Jepsen will be joining our senior coaching staff as our Under 20’s Coach and Senior Assistant Coach for the 2020 season.
Trent is a well known face on the local scene with almost 20 years coaching experience on the Coast. The B Licence holder joins us from local side Woombye where he has held numerous roles over the past 5 years including Director of Coaching and Women’s coach.
Trent held similar roles in a 5 year spell with Maroochydore leading their women’s side to 5 consecutive grand finals and doing the same at Woombye for 3 years in a row.
Speaking on the news of his appointment, Trent said “It’s a dream come true for me to work for the Fire. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
I’m excited to work with the boys who I know all have high asperations in the game and I can’t wait to get stuck in.”
Fire Senior Coach Gareth added “Trent completes our senior staff for 2020. To add another coach with the level of experience Trent has is a massive plus for our program.
While we share similar philosophies around the game, Trent has the experience to offer another dimension to the coaching team and is only going to add value to our players and club.”
